Close to 150 offshore cruising vessels recently completed the 18th ‘barely legal’ version of the annual Baja-Haha cruising rally from San Diego, California to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur – a distance of approximately 750 miles over 12 days. The Haha is part sailing race, part cruising rally, and all fun. Stops along the way included the small fishing village of Turtle Bay ‘Bahia de Tortugas’ and the secluded anchorage of Bahia de Santa Maria. Many Canadian vessels took part, including several members of the Bluewater Cruising Association.
