We’ve heard news recently that the fuel dock in False Creek, Vancouver, formerly owned by Esso, and closed in the fall of 2008, will be re-opening this season by a new independent company.  The absence of this facility over the past few years has been felt by local recreational boaters, charter companies, and commercial vessels.  The facility is planned to be open late spring or early summer 2011.  The photo below was taken in March 2011.
