One 4 Yacht Fractions opens new office
One 4 Yacht Fractions, a fractional yacht ownership company has recently opened a new office on Granville Island – Vancouver, B.C. November 26, 2004
“We feel that our fractional yacht ownership program will fill a key need in recreational boat ownership for today’s users” says Nuno Miguel Alves, General Manager. We will be offering premium power and sailing yachts at a fraction of the cost, integrated with a “hands on” management program to provide a high level of service and maintain the vessel to exceptional standards. “With a portfolio of successfully developed and managed fractional ownership resorts across Western Canada, we bring our experience and success to One 4 Yacht Fractions.
We have dealt with almost anything and everything when managing this many properties and people”, says President Andy Harris. “In addition, our operational crew collectively have decades of direct experience in the yachting trade.”
One 4 managed yachts will be based on Granville Island in Vancouver and in Tsehum, Harbour, Sidney BC in the preliminary offerings.
One of the company’s key objectives this year is to educate the public on the numerous advantages of fractional ownership.
Owning one quarter of the yacht entitles you to up to 12 weeks usage per year. Many privately owned yachts see little more than 30 days usage per year, according to a national statistic.
One 4’s Strength in Numbers program allows various sales affiliates to work together and get complete fractionally owned yachts on the water faster than any one company could do alone.
Available for usage in the summer of 2005, the company has selected two fine motor yachts, a larger Westcoast 46 equipped with twin diesels and bow thruster for the adventuring couple or family looking for efficiency in luxurious space, and a Carver 38 for those seeking a more modern design in the under 40 size. Two fantastic new sailboat designs are also available: from legendary C&C: the new 115, and a spacious family cruiser, the Bavaria 46.
